As a psychodynamic psychotherapist, I see therapy as a collaborative process where we make sense of things together. Working in safe and non-judgemental environment, we will carefully explore the difficulties you bring, at a pace that you feel comfortable with.
Areas I work with
I work with adult individuals as well as couples.
INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
Individual psychodynamic therapy can be a very helpful process for anyone wishing to develop greater self-awareness and a better understanding of their relationships, both past and present.
You may be looking for help with a particular problem or you may wish to embark on a more open-ended inner journey. Whether you are feeling low or stuck, therapy can provide a sense of relief and help you rediscover important inner resources, including greater capacities for relationships with significant others (e.g. a partner, parent, child, friend or colleague).
Whatever it is you bring, we will carefully explore your thoughts and concerns together, in a safe and confidential environment.
COUPLE THERAPY
Coming to therapy as a couple will give you the opportunity to explore difficult dynamics in a safe and confidential setting. There may be many difficult emotions between you, such as hurt or anger, and we will explore this together in a thoughtful way.
Couple therapy may help you both to identify repeating patterns that feel hurtful or even destructive; and it may help you to establish new ways of relating that feel more fulfilling and productive. During our sessions, we will think about your difficulties as well as the underlying reasons behind them. You may gain insight into each other’s experiences, feelings and behaviours, and begin to see each other as well as your relationship with a new sense of empathy and curiosity.
Qualifications and Training
I completed my post-graduate psychotherapy training at Tavistock Relationships, an internationally renowned institution for couple psychotherapy, training and research.
In addition to working in private practice, I am a visiting clinician at Tavistock Relationships where I work with individuals and couples. I hold a registration with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their professional code and ethical guidelines. I am also a graduate member of Tavistock Relationships Association of Psychotherapists and Counsellors. I attend regular supervision and professional development programmes to ensure the quality of my practice.
In addition to my professional qualifications, I hold a bachelor and a master’s degree in Political Science. I have previously worked in the City and I am familiar with the challenges that can come up in corporate settings.
I offer both in-person and online therapy. If you would like to enquire about availability or arrange an introductory session, please contact me via email or phone:
